Jan. 30 – KERCHHOVEN – Central Minnesota Christian girls’ basketball produced one of their best performances of the season, defeating Kerkhoven-Murdock-Senberg 54-51 on Monday.
The loss ended a five-game winning streak for KMS (7-2 Camden North, 15-4 overall). CMCS (3-3 Camden North, 7-11 overall) has won six of their eight matches.
Sienna Doink led the Blue Jays with 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists, and teammate Lauren Tatjes added 10 points.
Acelynn Hacker had 22 points and three steals for the Fighting Saints.
CMCS will face Dawson Boyd at 6 p.m. Thursday in Dawson. KMS plays Renville County West at 7:30pm Thursday in Renville.
