Grandview Speedway would continue under NASCAR sanctions for the 32nd consecutive season, opening the race on April 1

As has been the tradition since 1992, Grandview Speedway will once again become part of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series for the upcoming 2023 racing season.

Grandview Speedway competitors have been sanctioned under the NASCAR umbrella for more than three decades now and enjoy the benefits of being a member. Benefits include racing for NASCAR points fund money available for national, regional, state and track championships, as well as the great insurance coverage that NASCAR provides.

Just this past season, Grandview Modified Track Champion Craig Von Dohren earned not only points fund money for the track, but he received $3,500 from NASCAR for winning the track championship, and won another $15,000 for being the NASCAR Northeast Region Champion.

As always, all participating drivers must have a NASCAR license to be able to race and collect points money, with modified drivers listed in Division One, and sportbike drivers competing under Division Two.

Grandview Speedway management encourages everyone to purchase a NASCAR license to get into the pit area for additional insurance coverage, however you will be allowed to enter the pit area as a non-member for increased admission. Those who hold a NASCAR license will get additional insurance coverage and enter the pits at a reduced rate on all sanctioned events. Car owners and crew members can purchase their memberships as they were in the past if they desire the same coverage.

Grandview Speedway officials are also reminded that, as in past seasons, they must still purchase their NASCAR memberships as well.

Everyone can begin applying for a NASCAR Membership License at this discounted time, avoiding the lines on Opening Day by applying online at If anyone has any difficulty in purchasing their license, please send an email to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
