New on Netflix this February, from Reese Witherspoon rom-com to true crime documentary series

The concept of this four part documentary series is really interesting – A.J Rich pet, a German Shepherd to be exact, has a higher net worth than you and probably everyone you know. What lies beneath, however, is the identity of the dog left in his care and the number of versions of “Gunther” that fortune has been inherited. “Gunther’s Millions” delves into the man behind the dog, Maurizio Mian, an Italian celebrity known for his tenuous ties to the mafia and the cult that surrounds him.

Netflix’s “On My Block” was beloved for its inclusive cast, talented young actors, and the show’s coming-of-age story set in a predominantly black and Latino neighborhood in Los Angeles. When the show finished four seasons in late 2021, many people were disappointed to see it go. But now it’s getting a secondary: “Freeridge”.

“On My Block” manages to balance real social and political struggles with light-hearted mystery, friendship, and innocent romance, and “Freeridge” seems set to do the same. That is, until someone starts targeting and killing the circle of friends they’ve created, and until they seem to know something about their true identity.
